Timax use Aluminised lipped baffle plates to anchor the tubes, separate the tubes, separate the expansion chambers and give added rigidity to the box.
They are double skinned for improved noise attenuation, which has been alumininsined for optimum corrosion resistance.
Precision pattern perforated tube for the controlled expansion of the exhaust gases. Aluminised end plates which are lockseamed for superior corrosion resistance and also lockseamed to the box casing for durablity.

When the engine is switched off the combustion gases cool to form an acidic 'condensate'. The condensate collects in the silencer boxes and leads to internal corroasion, the primary cause of exhaust failure. With old or some manufacutres standard exhausts the corroasion damage can build up until the damage is irraversable.
